Multiple Series

As soon as the Legend well holds a field, every legend value gets its own chart, laid out in a grid. That is true of both chart types — a grid of pies, or a grid of concentric-ring charts. What the Chart Type setting changes is the inside of a chart, not how the series are arranged.

Charts fill each row up to the cap, then wrap. A partial last row is centred, not left-aligned: with 7 series capped at 3, the grid reads 3 / 3 / 1 with the lone chart in the middle. With 6 series capped at 3 it reads 3 / 3.

Each chart carries the caption configured in the Series Title card — which is how you tell one series from another. A logo can replace or accompany that caption.

Ring order

In the concentric chart type, the rings carry the categories. Their nesting order follows the Slice Order setting — data order, largest first, smallest first — and Ring Order decides whether the first rank sits at the centre or at the outer edge.

Gap Between Rings is a share of each ring's own band, so the rings stay evenly spaced whatever their number.

One scale for the whole grid

In the concentric type, the largest value across every chart of the grid is what fills the circle. A per-chart maximum would make each chart look full and quietly destroy the comparison the small multiples exist for.
